2018 Music Festival

Parc Provence Music Therapy Festival

June 2018

Music provides therapeutic benefits in memory care by stimulating every part of the brain. Whether singing songs, playing instruments, or simply watching others dance, those who participate in music therapy experience improvements in mood, memory, communication, and self-esteem.

This year’s festival runs through the month of June. Join us for a variety of musical experiences and live entertainment. Festivities include:

June 5
Ballroom dancers, 2:15 p.m. ; 2:45 p.m.

June 7
Radio show, 1:45 p.m.

June 8
National Blues Museum outing, 11:30 a.m.

June 11
Chair line dancing, 2:15 p.m.

June 13
Chimes with Troy, 9:30 a.m.

June 14
Music Jam, 9:45 a.m. ; 10:45 a.m.

June 15
Intergenerational music-therapy group, 10:00 a.m.

June 18
Marty Bell presentation, 1:45 p.m.

June 19
John Pyatt entertainment, 10:30 a.m.

June 20
