Making the Transition

At Parc Provence, we guide you through every step of the transition with compassion, preparation, and ongoing support.

Our team understands that this time can bring mixed emotions: relief, worry, hope, and even guilt. We’ve helped thousands of families navigate these feelings while ensuring their loved one settles comfortably into our community. You’re not alone in this process … we’re here to listen and to help.

Preparing for Move-In

Preparation begins well before move-in day. Families are encouraged to participate in orientation meetings, and personalize the suite with familiar items such as photos, quilts, or favorite keepsakes.

Our staff will work with you to understand daily routines, preferences, and favorite activities, ensuring continuity and comfort from day one. We also offer emotional support and educational resources to help families manage feelings or uncertainty during the transition.

Life After Move-In

It’s normal for the first few weeks to involve adjustment. Once your loved one has settled in, you’ll start to see new routines form and new friendships take shape. Activities, therapies, and daily engagement help residents regain a sense of rhythm and belonging. Our staff monitors every new resident closely and provides extra reassurance

The peace of mind that comes from knowing your loved one is safe, active, and cared for by experts allows families to focus on quality time together. Families are encouraged to call or visit as often as they wish.
