Residents’ Art on Display at University City Library

We are currently enjoying our annual Art Fair at Parc Provence. The public is invited to view the work created by our residents, and we have special events throughout the month to celebrate and demonstrate the benefits of art therapy.

Parc Provence Art Therapist Maggie Schmidt set up our art display at the University City Library. Our residents’ efforts are represented by 17 pieces of work in the main, glass display cases right by the check-out desk. Visit the library at 6701 Delmar Boulevard any time this month to see the pieces.

    Art at Parc Provence

While we focus on the benefits of this type of therapy during our art fair and use this time to share our creations with the public, art is always valued at Parc Provence. Whether learning about different painting styles while participating in a discussion with visitors from the Saint Louis Art Museum, attending an outing to a local museum, or participating in a creative class or an expressive therapy session, art can be celebrated and enjoyed all year long. It is a means of expression, relaxation, stimulation, socialization, and more.
